I'm back with some exciting news!

Long time no see everyone! How have you all been? I haven't been able to blog lately due to the power supply cable on my MacBook being temperamental. I've really missed keeping up with all the new bloggers that i follow & all of my favourite old YouTubers. I hope you are all well & still enjoying blogging. My new cable arrived in the post from apple today, so it's back to business. I also have some exciting news to share with you!

I recently watched an inspirational movie called, "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead". The title makes the movie sound a little OTT, but my curiosity got the better of me so i watched it.

For anyone like me who has struggled with their weight, tried every diet under the sun & still ended up heavier than when they started you'll know how it feels to be constantly looking for ways of losing weight fast without killing yourself in the process. This movie showed me a way i could not only drop some weight quickly but also detoxify, cleanse & rebalance my whole body. Sounds good eh!

The movie is about a guy called Joe from Australia who embarks on a 60 day juice fast whilst traveling across America. He loses a ton of weight which then kick starts him on a journey to change his lifestyle & eating habits for good. He also helps some folk along the way including a guy called Phil a truck driver who is totally transformed by juice fasting. I recommend that you go and watch the movie to see exactly why i'm so fired up. It really opens your eyes up to how we as a society have become addicted to junk food.

Immediately after watching the movie i decided to do a 7 day juice fast with the option of continuing beyond 7 days if i liked it. I went and bought a juicer & around £40 worth of fruit & vegetables to get me started. I also found a couple of books at a shop called PBC(Publishers book clearance) for £1 each!

Tefal Easy Juice juicer, juicing books, mineral water & ingredients for Mean Green juice

Here is the pile of fruit & veg i bought. The 11 cucumbers are hidden underneath it all. It will be more expensive than eating normal meals as i usually cook in bulk for the family & often freeze chillis act, so £40 just for me is expensive but you can't put a price on health can you.
